Smt. Rakshita Purisai Raghunathan is a Bharatanatyam Dancer and senior disciple of Guru Kalaimamani Smt. Ramya Ramnarayan, following the lineage of Guru Swamimalai K Rajaratnam Pillai and Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan. Smt. Rakshita has performed across India in many festivals such as Margazhi Season under the auspices of Kartik Fine Arts - Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Narada Gana Sabha, SVBC Nadaneerajanam including presenting at the divine Ram Janma Bhoomi - Ayodhya sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Delhi to name a few.
he is a recipient of awards “Nritya Nipun”, “Kalamani” “Natya Kushala” and Yuva Kala Bharati(Bharati Yuvakendra,Madurai) & "Artpreneur of the Year". She received the “Nari Pratibha Samman” Changemaker - 2024 award from SheForward (powered by Ne8x) for her contribution in arts education.
