The Cosmic Dance, Samridhi’s Logo was inspired by the interpretation of creation through dance, the prime mover of dance being the Nataraja (Shiva). Dance exists in every movement of the dancer and they are inseparable.
Samridhi’s goal is to spread the knowledge of Bharatanatyam online and share the passion we have for the art form with you. We want your journey towards self-expression to be a path of discovery and learning.
As an important step to enhance your experience in learning and exploring Bharatanatyam, we wanted you to be inclusive of the Global Performing Arts scenario, and get access to the global performing arts communities along with an indigenous understanding of Indian – Classical Bharatanatyam.

Connecting with artists around the world, Samridhi is a registred member of the ‘World Artistic Dance Federation‘. WADF is an International Forum whose aim is to create a true democratic organization for dancers, coaches and dance schools.

At Samridhi your commitment towards learning bharatanatyam is not taken lightly. After 150 plus hours of training you are eligible to certified by the International Dance Council (UNESCO) which Samridhi is a registered member of.

Live Sessions
Samridhi is offering online sessions for interested and committed learners. These classes are structured to further explore Bharatanatyam the advanced concepts present etc. The training offered through live sessions is curated for you as an individual to enhance your unique skill and inherent talent.
- You can learn based on your level & requirement in available slots every month through Private or Group Sessions.
- Classes are conducted via Zoom and Google Hangouts / Meet .
Get Certified
After 150 plus hours of training you are eligible to get certified from the International Dance Council.

Rakshita is the Founder and Artistic Director of “Samridhi Dance Foundation” – which brings you an inclusive and accessible way to learn and explore the artform. Rakshita is a Bharatanatyam Practitioner, Performing Artist, Tutor and Choreographer from India.

Rakshita is a Bharathanatyam Practitioner ,Performing Artist, Tutor and Choreographer from India. Having over 18+ years of experience, Rakshita has had formative training in Pandanallur and Vazhuvoor Styles.
She is the disciple of Dr. Archana, Sastra Temple of Dance. She is a student of Kalaimamani Guru. Smt. Ramya Ramnarayan, Nrithyanjali, USA and also training in Karana Vivaranam with Dr. Sujatha Mohan(disciple of Padma Bhushan Guru, Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam).
